Farm Fresh Jersey Milk From Lady-Lane Farm
Lady-Lane Farm is a small, traditional, sustainable dairy that takes pride in its environmentally friendly practices and commitment to the well-being of its livestock. Owned and operated by Garry J. Hansen, a third generation dairy farmer, Lady-Lane Farm was established in May of 1992 when Garry decided to venture out on his own after five years as a partner in the family dairy. Located in Mulino, Oregon, just ten miles south of Oregon City, Lady-Lane Farm is nestled in the picturesque Milk Creek Basin, through which Milk Creek flows. This scenic setting is coincidentally right next door to the family dairy where Garry grew up, and it is here that he produces Garry's Meadow Fresh Milk, known for its quality and freshness. Through Lady-Lane Farm, Garry continues to offer the community delicious Garry's Milk while adhering to sustainable farming practices.
All-Jersey Milk
Garry’s Meadow Fresh Jersey Milk is notably higher in calcium, protein, and nonfat milk solids compared to conventional milk. These qualities enhance the product’s creamy texture and taste. Only products made from 100% Jersey milk can carry the All-Jersey® and Queen of Quality® trademarks. The Jersey breed, known for being the smallest of all dairy breeds, has a reduced environmental impact; they consume less and produce less waste. Garry’s Meadow Fresh Jersey Milk is packaged in glass bottles that can be reused, helping to minimize waste. These glass bottles can be returned almost immediately; they go back to Lady-Lane Farm, where they are washed, sanitized, and refilled. This process is much quicker than recycling plastic or carton containers. We kindly ask you to Rinse and Return your glass bottles to any of our retail locations, including those at Lady-Lane Farm.
Lady-Lane Farm
Our ladies are very important to us at Lady-Lane Farm, which is home to seventy-five purebred registered Jersey cows. These cows are known for their higher tolerance for hot weather and their longevity in a producing herd. We select quality females to ensure that Garry's Meadow Fresh Milk is of the best quality possible, as we strive to produce the finest milk for our customers.
